Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Interior Designer to join our team in The Woodlands, Texas. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the interior design aspects of projects, collaborating with our architectural team, and ensuring seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with our team and clients to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop creative and functional design concepts that integrate with our architectural designs.
  • Coordinate with clients, project consultants, vendors, and contractors to develop construction documents and specifications.
  • Produce high-quality drawings, specifications, and construction administration documents.
  • Contribute to proposal development and contract review with our Project Manager.
  • Participate in office culture and initiatives, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) from a CIDA-accredited school.
  • Registered Interior Designer preferred; actively pursuing licensure required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of success on various project types.
  • Proficiency in Revit for design and construction documents, with working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Lumion.
  • Residential interior design experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and standards.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to achieve goals.
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
