Interior Design Assistant

Kate Marker Interiors is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Design Team Member to support our design projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with our lead designers to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain our material libraries, ensuring seamless access to design resources.
- Coordinate meetings with vendors to review new materials and products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors to drive project success.
- Assist in product pricing and proposal curation for clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Create and revise Keynote presentations to showcase design concepts and specifications.
- Prepare and organize materials for client meetings, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Support lead designers during client meetings, taking notes and providing valuable insights.
- Utilize AutoCAD to create lighting elevations, check mirror sizes, and update floor plans.
- Assist with client installations, ensuring a seamless and professional experience.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
- Strong knowledge of the residential design industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Studio Designer, and KeyNote.
- Ability to travel occasionally for client projects and continuing education.
