Job Title: Senior Director of Enrollment

San Francisco Bay University (SFBU) is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Enrollment to join our team. As a key member of our Enrollment Management department, you will play a critical role in implementing our strategic enrollment plan and leading our enrollment team to achieve our goals.

Job Summary:

The Senior Director of Enrollment will report to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs and will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our enrollment team, including supervising admissions professionals, overseeing enrollment data and trends, and ensuring alignment with our university's mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and lead a diverse team of admissions professionals to achieve enrollment goals.
  • Collaborate with university leadership to establish enrollment goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Oversee enrollment data and trends to inform decision-making and drive enrollment growth.
  • Ensure the admissions area is aligned with the university's mission, vision, and core values.
  • Play a key role in implementing our comprehensive strategic enrollment plan, including strategic scholarship and financial aid awarding.
  • Oversee enrollment data imports and exports conducted by the Operations Manager.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry practices and enrollment trends.
  • Lead the team to cultivate positive relationships with prospective students, their families, high school counselors, community college counselors, and other stakeholders to attract and enroll students.
  • Develop and coordinate recruitment activities, including student ambassador programs, high school and community college visits, college fairs, campus tours, and other relevant events.
  • Maintain confidentiality of records, correspondence, and sensitive information.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as higher education administration, student affairs, or business administration.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in university admissions with a proven track record of success in meeting enrollment goals and supervising admissions professionals.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.
  • Demonstrated success in developing community partnerships with external partners such as high school counselors and community colleges.
  • Technological adeptness and experience with CRMs.
Abilities:
  • Customer service-oriented and displays a high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
  • Follow procedures and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledgeable of higher education admissions and general university functions and services.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $190,000, DOE. SFBU offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Location:

This is an exempt, full-time position located in Fremont, California. Candidates must reside in the local area or be willing to relocate.
