Role Overview
As a vital member of the Value-Added Services sector within the Issuing Solutions Product organization, this position is tasked with the continuous development and enhancement of Visa's global benefits offerings. This encompasses APIs, user interfaces, and backend systems that empower issuers to craft, manage, and distribute compelling cardholder value propositions on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Strategy: Design and implement operational processes that facilitate product changes, incident management, and feature delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, operational support teams, and other stakeholders to deliver, conduct, and oversee these processes.
  • Validation: Continuously assess and test operational processes to ensure effectiveness.
  • Support: Assist Product Managers in considering the full operational implications and requirements throughout the feature development lifecycle.
  • Roadmap Management: Collaborate with Product Managers to build and maintain the product roadmap and backlog.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a liaison between key stakeholders, providing expert insights.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years with a PhD.
  • 2+ years in a product ownership, management, or support role.
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing Business Analysis skills or similar.
  • Proven track record with live operational products, APIs, and B2B solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey business needs to technical teams.
  • Strong technical understanding of web applications and APIs.
  • Attention to detail and intellectual agility.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
  • Able to manage geographically dispersed stakeholders across different time zones.

Additional Information
Work Hours: Flexible based on departmental needs.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel (5-10%).
Mental/Physical Requirements: This role is primarily office-based, requiring the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate effectively, and operate standard office equipment.
