About the Position

As a Human Services Professional with Community Partners in Action, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team to support clients in our transitional housing program. You will be responsible for providing supervision and guidance to residents, as well as developing and implementing strategies to promote a safe and respectful living environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor resident activities, ensuring compliance with program policies and promoting a safe and secure environment.
  • Act as an advocate for all participants, encouraging program participation and accountability.
  • Proactively resolve conflicts and maintain professional boundaries with residents, staff, volunteers, and family members.
  • Assist with meeting resident needs and serve as a positive role model, adhering to program guidelines and maintaining a professional image.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A High School diploma/GED, associate or bachelor's degree.
  • Prior experience working in human services, particularly with justice-involved clients and those struggling with substance abuse or mental health issues.
  • Crisis management skills and ability to interact with diverse populations.
  • A valid CT driver's license and reliable transportation.
