Position Overview

The Recovery Center of Ohio, LLC is dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome the challenges of addiction to alcohol and other substances. Our agency is committed to delivering high-quality, gender-responsive, and trauma-informed services to clients dealing with substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring consistent communication to evaluate and support their progress.
  • Assess client strengths, needs, and capabilities while addressing obstacles to achieving their objectives.
  • Employ a strengths-based and trauma-informed methodology to collaborate effectively with clients and both internal and external team members.
  • Facilitate community integration, transportation assistance, and the development of essential life skills.
  • Engage in goal setting and treatment planning tailored to individual client needs.
  • Connect clients with community resources and provide necessary referrals.
  • Deliver supportive services that promote client independence.
  • Monitor medication adherence and intervene during crises as needed.
  • Document all client interactions and activities promptly and accurately.
  • Adhere to all relevant internal and external policies, regulations, and standards, including the agency's Quality Assurance Plan and State Licensing requirements.
  • Participate in mandatory meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related discipline, with a minimum of one year of experience in an addiction or mental health environment.
  • Possession of an active CDCA or LCDCII/LCDCIII/LICDC license from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board.
  • Experience in case management and familiarity with community resources.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and engagement abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records documentation.
  • Commitment to the agency's mission and values, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and promoting workplace harmony.
  • Dedication to providing outstanding customer service.

Work Environment: This position requires in-person engagement with clients.
