Position Overview

The Recovery Center of Ohio, LLC is dedicated to assisting individuals in overcoming the challenges posed by addiction to alcohol and other substances. Our organization prioritizes delivering high-quality, gender-responsive, and trauma-informed services to clients facing substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a designated client caseload while ensuring consistent communication to evaluate and track client progress.
  • Assess client strengths, needs, and capabilities, addressing any obstacles that may hinder the achievement of their goals.
  • Employ a strengths-based and trauma-informed methodology to collaborate effectively with clients and both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate client recovery.
  • Support clients in community integration, transportation, and the development of essential life skills.
  • Assist in setting goals and creating comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Connect clients with community resources and provide necessary referrals.
  • Deliver supportive services that promote client independence.
  • Oversee medication management and intervene during crises as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and activities.
  • Adhere to all relevant internal and external policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, including the agency's Quality Assurance Plan and State Licensing requirements.
  • Engage in all required meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of one year of experience in an alcohol and other drugs (AOD) or mental health environment.
  • Possession of an active CDCA or LCDCII/LCDCIII/LICDC license from the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board.
  • Experience in case management and familiarity with community resources.
  • Strong interpersonal and engagement abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
  • Commitment to supporting the agency's mission and philosophy, demonstrating sensitivity to cultural diversity and workplace harmony.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
Work Environment

This position requires in-person engagement with clients.
