Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

This position is responsible for performing entire system test and calibration on CT equipment prior to shipment to clients, as well as providing onsite customer service in the field when necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Mechanical and electrical cabling system installation and troubleshooting
- System test and calibration
- Record test results
- Conduct image testing of systems and related items in accordance with work specifications and procedures
- System troubleshoot to the component level
- Assist in entire system assembly, mechanical, electrical and cabling
- Create & refine system documentation
- Work independently and in team environment, both intra and interdepartmentally
- Have a very high level of product knowledge
- Run tests and simulations at our facility to assist with problem solving
- Learn to be proficient in service and repair of all systems (current, new, and updates)
- Attend and complete all required training and certification exams
- Required to wear dosimeter when in direct contact with radiation emitting devices
- Associates Degrees in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Networking or other related discipline or equivalent experience preferred
- Technical training and at least 5 years' experience in complex capital equipment. Experience with CT and Imaging a plus.
- Knowledge and ability to work with measuring and test equipment such as venires, torque gauges, power supplies, scopes, multi meters and more.
- Experience with mechanical devices, tools and test equipment, telecommunications systems, and working knowledge of computer networking
- ISO, FDA, CMDR Awareness Training and Product Complaint System, or Certification - Health Stream
- Must demonstrate fluent English verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment
- Willing to travel overnight
- Background and drug testing (pre and post-employment) is required
- Must be able to assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations to management
