ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This role encompasses comprehensive system testing and calibration of CT equipment before shipment to clients, along with providing on-site customer service as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Installation and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical cabling systems.
2. Conduct system testing and calibration.
3. Document test results.
4. Perform image testing of systems and related components according to specifications and procedures.
5. Troubleshoot systems to the component level.
6. Assist in the complete assembly of systems, including mechanical, electrical, and cabling.
7. Create and refine system documentation.
8. Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
9. Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
10. Execute tests and simulations at our facility to facilitate problem-solving.
11. Gain proficiency in servicing and repairing all systems (current, new, and updates).

Attendance and completion of all mandatory training and certification exams are required. Wearing a dosimeter is necessary when in direct contact with radiation-emitting devices.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
An Associate's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Networking, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred. Technical training coupled with at least 5 years of experience in complex capital equipment is essential. Experience with CT and imaging technologies is advantageous.

Proficiency in using measuring and testing equipment such as calipers, torque gauges, power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and more is required. Familiarity with mechanical devices, tools, telecommunications systems, and a working knowledge of computer networking is necessary. Awareness of ISO, FDA, CMDR training, and product complaint systems or certification is beneficial.

Fluent English verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel overnight is required. Background and drug testing (pre and post-employment) is mandatory.

COMPUTER & ANALYTICAL SKILLS:
Comfort with technology is essential, including proficiency with the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Pushing/pulling weights exceeding 100 pounds may be necessary when maneuvering company equipment for repair. Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and using hands for various tasks are required. Must be able to sit and/or drive for extended periods while traveling. Regular exposure to wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and extreme temperatures is expected.

Interaction with x-ray devices necessitates strict safety and tracking programs, requiring the use of dose monitoring equipment as needed. The noise level in the work environment may be very loud.
