Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Motion Industries. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality assemblies and subassemblies for various mechanical and electro-mechanical operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize work instructions, bill of materials, blueprints, and schematics to produce zero-defect assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Perform tasks such as wiring, component installation, kit assembly, and inspection, following established methods and sequences.
  • Crimping and soldering, reading and understanding electrical/mechanical schematics, and understanding measurements and tolerances.
  • Assemble parts or units, position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • This position does not require a Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
  • Steel-toed shoes are not required for this position.
  • This position is for Shift 1.
  • Daily Start Time: 8:30AM.
  • Daily End Time: 5:00PM.
  • Working Days: Monday-Friday.
