POSITION OVERVIEW

If so, a position in Housekeeping may be the ideal fit. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests while benefiting from our commitment to the welfare of our team members.

As a Room Attendant, your primary responsibilities will include preparing accommodations for incoming guests and maintaining rooms for those currently staying with us. Your tasks will also encompass responding to guest inquiries, equipping carts with necessary cleaning supplies, and replenishing amenities. To ensure we deliver exceptional service, your role will involve upholding consistently high standards in room maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promptly address requests from guests and collaborate with other departments.
  • Prepare cleaning carts with supplies and transport them to designated areas.
  • Access guest rooms following established protocols to ensure they are vacant before entry.
  • Restock guest amenities and supplies within rooms.
  • Replace soiled linens and towels with fresh items.
  • Make beds and neatly arrange towels.
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms.
  • Dispose of trash, soiled linens, and room service items.
  • Verify that all appliances are present and functioning in the room.
  • Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances.
  • Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
  • Vacuum carpets in guest rooms and hallways.
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete required safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance; uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; and express genuine appreciation to guests.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve common objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
  • Safely move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform tasks that require reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Complete other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.
