Job Overview

VRC Companies, a national leader in Records Management Solutions, is seeking a skilled Document Destruction Specialist to join our team.

Salary: $20-$22/hr + benefits

Job Description:

  • Operate mobile-based shredding equipment for onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information.
  • Plan and execute routes for regularly scheduled clients and purge or 'one-time' pickups.
  • Maintain a safe and professional approach while operating a company vehicle and handling equipment.
  • Ensure timely and efficient service delivery, adhering to traffic regulations and safety requirements.
  • Responsible for loading, unloading, and maintaining trucks and equipment.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on truck and shredder equipment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, providing excellent service and support.

Requirements:

  • Consistently report to work on time, prepared to perform duties of the position.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing customer needs.
  • Meet department productivity and quality standards, demonstrating organization and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the team, working as an individual contributor to achieve shared goals.
  • Receive, comprehend, and respond appropriately to direction, following all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude, working overtime hours as needed.
