We are seeking an Electronics Field Specialist to join our team at Smiths Detection.

Job Description

As an Electronics Field Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining equipment in the field. You will also provide customer training as required and document all inspections, maintenance, repair work and submit paperwork in a timely basis.

  • You will be responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction.
  • You will install, repair and maintain equipment in the field; provide customer training as required.
  • You will document all inspections, maintenance, repair work and submit paperwork in a timely basis.
  • You will order, install, and return parts and manage repair parts cycle time.
  • You will review all logs for open issues and prepare formal reports to customers as necessary.
Requirements

To be successful as an Electronics Field Specialist, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Excellent communications skills and a strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork.
  • The ability to travel at short notice and work safely in extreme environments.

We offer a competitive salary of $61,000 - $83,000 per year, depending on your education, experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings and paid time off.
