Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team in Santa Rosa, California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and corrective repairs of biomedical equipment and medical systems.
  • Conduct pre-issue and asset accounting, equipment installation, and de-installation as needed.
  • Inspect, maintain, and perform electrical safety tests of biomedical equipment to ensure code compliance.
  • Document the results of all inspections, maintenance, and tests.
  • Collaborate with biomedical engineers and other specialties to provide comprehensive support.
  • Complete applicable documentation of all work performed in a timely manner.
  • Travel to provide service support and attend technical training.
Requirements:
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in formal and/or on-the-job training.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED).
  • Valid California Driver's License.
  • Good driving record and willingness to work extended hours.
  • Proficiency in operating PCs with Windows operating systems.
