Job Title: Lead Database

At Two Six Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Lead Database professional to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing complex data infrastructure to meet our customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support high-volume and complex data systems
  • Assist with the design of network architectures based on customer data requirements and industry best practices
  • Provide recommendations on how to support ongoing maintenance and enhancements of data systems and platforms
  • Develop unique solutions to meet customer requirements and industry best practices
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Write and update technical documentation, such as data system documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' experience designing, installing, administering, upgrading, patching, and performance tuning Oracle databases
  • At least 8 years of related experience in database engineering and administration of systems for complex and high-volume data processing, using a variety of ingest methods and data management techniques, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience

Desired Skills:

  • Experience performing all aspects of the database lifecycle, including design, installation, deployment, data migration, maintenance, backup/recovery, patching, and upgrading
  • Experience in database security analysis and vulnerability remediation
  • Experience with Oracle engineered systems, such as Exadata, Big Data, MiniCluster, or SuperCluster
  • Experience managing database systems in conjunction with data store systems in high availability and system redundancy environments
  • Experience with current and practical expertise using Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, SQL*Plus, and SQL Developer
  • Extensive experience in database architecture, design, and processing models, as well as extensive experience with data architecture, modeling, and management in a broad spectrum of data repository environments, such as data warehouse, online transaction processing, and hybrid
