Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will collaborate with a team of software developers and subject matter experts to validate web applications supporting the Army.

  • Collaborate with software developers and domain specialists to design and implement test automation frameworks for web applications developed in a continuous integration setting.
  • Design, develop, and sustain tests and testing frameworks utilizing Selenium, Java, JavaScript, and Cypress.js.
  • Engage actively in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience focused on software test automation, including the design, development, and maintenance of test frameworks.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Java and JavaScript
  • Experience with Typescript and React
  • Familiarity with Junit, Selenium, Jest, and Cypress.js
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Understanding of Test Design Patterns
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within an Agile development team.
  • Experience with tools and environments for running integration and unit tests.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with 4–10 years of directly relevant experience.
  • Clearance: Secret

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Selenium Web Automation testing, Python, and Gherkin.
  • Development experience in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with formal ticketing systems such as Atlassian Jira.
  • Experience in a consulting/client-focused environment.
  • Proficiency in Selenium Web.
  • Experience with API testing.
  • Experience in performance and load testing.
  • Familiarity with Locust.
