Job Title: Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our food service operation, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with managing food service operations to meet client expectations and budget requirements.
  • Oversee quality control to ensure that food offered to clients, customers, and employees meets superior standards.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with associates, guests, and clients, as well as other departments within the operation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of food service management experience.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, and/or related food service operations.
  • Comprehensive food knowledge.
  • Operations management experience with purchasing knowledge.
  • Financial experience and business acumen skills.
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
