We are Total Primary Care, a leading primary care system in Texas, seeking a Medical Coding Trainer and Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with physicians and providers to educate them on best practices and coding guidelines.

You will develop and deliver training programs to ensure that our staff has the skills and knowledge needed to meet regulatory requirements. You will also provide one-on-one consulting services to physicians and providers to help them navigate complex coding issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement education programs to improve coding practices
  • Provide one-on-one consulting services to physicians and providers
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of coding activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical coding or a related field
  • Proven ability to educate and train others on best practices and coding guidelines
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards

What We Offer:

  • $150,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience
