Salary
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Specialist to join our Rapid Response Team/Critical Care Float RN team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care on MS Tele, PCU, Stepdown, and ICU units as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Float to MS Tele, PCU, Stepdown, and ICU units as required
- Participate in rapid response and code responses
- Round, assess, and chart reviews on inpatient units
- Provide support for central line unsterile, chest tube insertion, NG, bridal, and other procedures
- Assume care for upgrades in care, including ICU patients requiring intubation and other critical care needs
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Critical Care
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH skills, including Critical Care, Central Line, Chest Tube, NIV, ICP Monitoring, and Care of Ventilated Patient
- 36 hour workweek, with 3x12 variable shifts
- 60 hours guaranteed per 2 weeks
- No on-call requirement
- Weekend requirement: yes
