Job Overview

Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our field sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our channel network in the New England Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and Grow Territory: Develop and execute strategies to drive new revenue with channel partners and dealers, while expanding existing relationships to drive growth in each account.
  • Channel Network Development: Grow the channel network in your region, refining it for performance and revenue success in key segments.
  • Meet or Exceed Revenue Targets: Achieve or exceed revenue targets by partnering with channel and dealers to promote brands, educate sales reps and customers, communicate promotions, and optimize opportunities to drive revenue results.
  • Reporting and Communication: Regularly report to management on forecast, sales pipeline, and sales results, as well as collaborate with sales and marketing to roll out regular promotions and product marketing materials.
  • Travel and Collaboration: Travel in the territory to all channel partners and dealers (approximately 70-80%), attend customer sales calls with partners to assist in closing business, and attend regular sales meetings with the team and manager.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience selling tires, with a preference for those whose experience most closely aligns with the specific position.
  • Skills: Excellent ability to work independently using proactive selling skills to create new relationships and foster existing ones, industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and ability to travel in the territory up to 80% of the time.
