  • Develop strategic plans aligned with organizational goals, promoting professional growth among staff.
  • Establish and maintain patient care standards through continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and foster satisfaction among patients and employees.
  • Facilitate shared decision-making by incorporating staff input.
  • Assist in budget development and monitoring, approving purchases, and managing inventory.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new products as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Extensive clinical expertise in the relevant specialty area.

Certifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
  • Preferred nursing certification in specialty area.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Competencies:

  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Capability to function effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Professional demeanor with a focus on patient safety and quality improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

  • A minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience, demonstrating leadership and management skills.

  • Corrected hearing and vision within normal ranges.
  • May involve exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
  • Light work capacity, requiring the ability to lift and move objects as necessary.
