Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nursing Coordinator to join our team at Good Samaritan Medical Center. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise and knowledge in Neurosurgery and Spine Cases, anticipating the needs of the surgeon and patient for each procedure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of the surgeon and patient for each procedure
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Neurosurgery and Spine procedures, including etiology and instrumentation
  • Stay current with new techniques and mentor staff members
  • Assist with staff education and circulate in cases to assist the surgeon and mentor new staff
  • Manage equipment and inventory, and coordinate cases and staff with management
  • Work with Sterile Processing, Materials, and Vendors to ensure smooth case execution
Requirements
  • Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida
  • BSN preferred
  • BLS/CPR certification (American Heart or equivalent)
  • CNOR preferred
  • 3-5 years OR experience with general and Neurosurgery and Spine surgery preferred
