About the Role

The Senior Account Executive is a field-based, direct sales role responsible for driving client growth and retention through strategic account planning and execution. This role requires a consultative approach, working closely with C-level executives to develop and implement effective strategies that maximize the value delivered by Gartner's products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive client growth and retention
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives to understand business needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Consult with clients to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to capture new business
  • Manage and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
Requirements
  • 8-15 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in high-tech (services, software, or consultative environment)
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizations
  • Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process
