Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Locksmith Technician to ensure the security and functionality of our locking systems at JACK Cleveland Casino LLC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee an inventory of essential parts and materials.
  • Keep detailed records of all keys produced, excluding guest room keys, along with signatures of individuals receiving them, including the date of issuance.
  • Conduct maintenance to ensure all locks and locking mechanisms are in optimal and secure working order.
  • Cut keys as required for various applications.
  • Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Access areas containing gaming equipment or assets as necessary.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Capability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
  • Physical ability to navigate throughout the property, including stairs (minimum of 20 steps) or escalators.
  • Must be able to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs, with the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
  • Respond effectively to visual and auditory signals.
  • Proficient manual dexterity for operating computers and necessary office equipment.
  • Tolerance for environments with dust, loud noises, and bright lighting.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities and unexpected challenges.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a commercial locksmith setting is mandatory.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience with Master Key Systems and Key Control.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Keyless Entry and Access Control systems.
  • Knowledge of Hard Key systems and Locking Mechanisms.
  • Experience with Panic Hardware and Concealed Door Closers.
  • Proficiency with the Saflok system.
  • A valid Ohio Driver's License is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
Licensing Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming Occupational License within the State of Ohio.
