Job Description

As a Recreational Therapist - Acute Care Specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to design and implement unit-based recreational experiences for our patients. Your expertise will help create a therapeutic environment that promotes healing and growth.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement recreational programs for patients aged 2-22.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient-centered treatment plans.
  3. Provide individual and group recreational therapy sessions.
  4. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and program effectiveness.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adult populations.
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist/Therapist (CTRS) certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
