Job Title: Geriatric Activity Specialist

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our interdisciplinary care team as a Geriatric Activity Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with participants, families, and caregivers to assess their needs, develop individualized therapeutic recreation plans, and lead engaging activities that promote physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of participants' needs, interests, and capabilities
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Lead activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities, including art, music, exercise, and educational programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., recreational therapy, gerontology)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with frail or elderly populations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation Package

  • Salary range: $55,000 - $75,000 per year
