Retail Department Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Department Coordinator to join our team at Marshalls Store 1084. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Create a positive internal and external customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers.
- Promote a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Orchestrate truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor and ensuring efficient flow of goods to sales floor.
- Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, ensuring they complete tasks and activities according to store plan.
- Monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary, maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment, ensuring compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
- Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, providing progress updates and recognition.
- Participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, promoting safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of multi-tasking and responding appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Able to train others and lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
- 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
