We are seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join our team. This role requires a thorough understanding of auditing principles, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. We offer a hybrid work environment, with required in-office days, and remote work availability.

About the Role

This position involves planning and executing audit engagements for various clients, including nonprofits, small businesses, and individuals. As an Audit Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing audit teams, mentoring junior staff members, and ensuring accurate and compliant results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans, assess risks, and establish objectives for each engagement.
  • Supervise and guide audit teams, providing support and feedback throughout the process.
  • Review and analyze workpapers, financial statements, and audit findings to guarantee accuracy and adherence to auditing standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, presenting audit findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes in auditing standards to ensure best practices.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in audit roles, preferably in a public accounting firm.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience, with expertise in audit procedures and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
