DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle all incoming phone inquiries from clients and external parties.

Assist customers with product ordering as needed.

Provide timely quotations to clients.

Input sales orders and return merchandise authorizations into the company’s database as required.

Oversee the weekly backlog report.

Ensure a satisfactory volume of weekly orders processed.

Maintain an acceptable level of weekly sales revenue.

Achieve a satisfactory number of weekly product quotations.

Submit a summary of orders, revenue, and quotes at the end of each week.

Conduct file maintenance for the Customer Database.

Access sales-related data as needed to assist customers and support production/collections.

Convert incoming inquiries into Sales Cycles* to the best of your ability and provide necessary follow-up to secure orders.

Gather sufficient background information for complex inquiries and refer to more experienced colleagues.

Support administrative staff as needed to facilitate payments for overdue products/services.

Assist the receptionist as required, such as answering and directing incoming calls during breaks and absences.

*Sales Cycle: THE SERIES OF EVENTS AND TASKS LEADING FROM INITIAL CONTACT TO A SALE AND CONCLUDING WITH PAYMENT COLLECTION.

Qualifications:

Experience with ERP software systems.
Familiarity with return merchandise authorizations (a definite advantage).
Understanding of Bill of Materials (B.O.M.) sales within an inventory ERP system.
Experience in processing quotations and entering sales orders.
Knowledge of purchase orders with net terms.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Windows 10 & 11.
Understanding of shipping methods and incoterms.
Experience in international sales (a definite advantage).
Knowledge of export compliance (a definite advantage).
