The Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) performs a full range of Business Analyst (BA) activities working independently for complex IT systems. The incumbent is responsible for eliciting and documenting requirements, test cases, process flows, and other data essential to defining the scope of work and objectives necessary to meet project goals and to ensure successful deliverance of intended product or service with the specified features and functions within the project scope.
Key Responsibilities:- Elicit and document requirements, test cases, process flows, and other data essential to defining the scope of work and objectives.
- Work independently on complex IT systems, performing a full range of Business Analyst activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful deliverance of intended product or service.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of project scope, objectives, and requirements.
This job is located at the Department of Industrial Relations, 1515 Clay Street, Oakland, CA 94612. The incumbent will work in a temperature-controlled office environment with an assigned cubicle. Access to the department suite will require a special badge. DIR is currently in a hybrid telework schedule and the incumbent will be required to work on site two days a week.
Special Requirements:The SOQ should be no more than two pages with one-inch margins and in 12-point Arial font. The responses must be numbered and presented in the order as they appear in the job announcement.
