This role is crucial in ensuring that our transportation partners and customers receive timely shipments, especially during network disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to carriers and drivers in a contact center setting by utilizing strong research and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain adherence to schedules in a fast-paced environment, managing start/stop times and breaks effectively.
- Identify potential system failures regarding the pickup, transport, or delivery of customer loads, making outbound calls to investigate issues.
- Support workload fluctuations and weather-related operations, including the possibility of significant overtime during peak periods.
- Utilize internal systems to compile data for reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions and communicate insights effectively.
- Assist field teams with driver assignments, load acceptance, and ensuring driver and equipment availability.
Required Skills:
- Experience in logistics, customer service, and transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong data entry and service skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of call center experience, focusing on detail-oriented problem resolution.
- Ability to navigate emotional situations with a focus on empathy and solution-oriented approaches.
- Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of computer systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in collections, insurance, claims, or investigations.
