Quality Process Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Process Engineer with IPC 610 & J-STD certification to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Quality Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our manufacturing processes and products, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality attribute plans to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct process validation activities to verify that manufacturing processes are effective and meet specified requirements.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, ensuring that all processes are well-documented and up-to-date.
  • Identify, analyze, and solve quality-related problems using various problem-solving methodologies and tools.
  • Lead and participate in CAPAs, ensuring that corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement process improvements, driving efficiency and quality in manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with AS9100 ISO environment, ISO 13485, NADCAP standards, and other relevant quality standards and regulations.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in quality process engineering and electronics manufacturing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Process Engineering in the manufacturing industry.
  • IPC 610 & J-STD certification is a must.
  • Proven experience with CAPAs, AS9100 ISO environment, ISO 13485, and NADCAP standards.
  • Extensive experience in process validation and process documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of quality attribute plans and electronics manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in using various software and tools for process engineering and quality management.
