Job Description:

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Based Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our school-based services, you will play a vital role in providing mental health support to students and families in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize specialized knowledge of behavioral science principles to support students in achieving academic and personal success.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing a range of mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of school-based services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis intervention skills.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and in a school setting preferred.
