Swope Health Services is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Liaison for Schools to provide counseling and case management services to clients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health assessment and treatment, as well as experience working with children and youth with serious emotional disturbances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform intake assessments and chart documentation reviews to address specific needs.
  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings with school staff to establish treatment goals.
  • Provide brief-targeted case management services to assist with coordinating student support and connection to community resources.
  • Available to assist in mental health crisis situations as needed.
  • Accurately report billing documentation consistent with payer requirements.
  • Meet expected productivity guidelines and standards.
  • Participate in Continuous Performance Improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
  • Preferred Provisionally Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • 1-3 years of prior experience with children/youth with serious emotional disturbances or 3-5 years of prior related experience.
  • Working knowledge of the current DSM with the ability to assess mental health disorders.
  • Knowledgeable regarding trauma-informed care.
