Job Title: Procurement Agent

Job Summary:

Mansfield Service Partners is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Agent to join our team in Fort Worth or Odessa, TX. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate fulfillment rates and inventory for our distribution centers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain purchasing and inventory cohesion for multiple distribution sites, product lines, packaging, and make items, along with supply point relationships.
  • Work with Operations and Sales Managers to align storage and distribution capabilities with sales demand and sales forecast while striving to optimize inventory levels.
  • Develop a high-performing level of self-accountability and communication that meets individual role expectations.
  • Share in the development of performance metrics and hold vendors and self-accountable.
  • Communicate constraints and required forecast adjustments to Sales Managers/Sales Representatives.
  • Achieve operating inventory targets of at least 98% fulfillment levels.
  • Facilitate open and regular communications with MSP distribution facilities, managers, and sales reps to resolve transportation, logistics, and storage issues.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to drive efficiency while being cost-conscious.
  • Provide insight, recommendations, intelligence, and updates to the leadership team within the lubes department.
  • Work as the MSP liaison with strategic vendors to optimize supply chain relationships with regard to all purchasing, pricing, and RTVs. Maintain FIFO within the network of facilities.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 or more years of experience in a similar performing role.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, relative experience and tenure in the field is acceptable.
  • Multi-facility Supply Chain experience required.
  • Lubricant/Specialty Chemical Distribution.
  • Experience in MAS/Sage or SAP preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
