Role Responsibilities

We are in search of a seasoned Named Account Manager to enhance our expanding Sales division. This role will serve as a trusted consultant, implementing sales strategies to surpass sales objectives within a designated portfolio of accounts.

Arista appeals to progressive organizations that prioritize quality and innovation. Therefore, possessing technical expertise and a history of selling data center solutions is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surpass defined sales targets and promote the Arista brand within a specified list of enterprise accounts.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach with key client stakeholders to address the business requirements of hybrid cloud computing and outdated IT systems across the Arista product suite, which includes Software-Driven Cloud Networking platforms, EOS (Open Source Network OS), Cognitive Campus Networking, WI-FI Campus networking, Cloud Vision (Network Automation & Telemetry), Network Monitoring Fabric solutions, alongside NDR, Endpoint, and AI-driven Network Identity Access security solutions.
  • Engage with key influencers, decision-makers, and executives to present Arista's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with Arista systems engineers to design and position compelling solutions that reduce the total cost of ownership.
  • Work with technology partners to identify prospects and showcase best-in-class solutions.
  • Establish and nurture key channel relationships within your territory.
  • Develop strategic and tactical account plans based on regular business reviews with prospects and clients.
  • Conduct demand generation initiatives such as networking events, educational sessions, and technology forums.
  • Collaborate with Arista colleagues on marketing strategies and best practices.
  • Stay informed about technology partner solutions, competitive offerings, and industry strategies.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses a proactive mindset and a proven history in technology sales, including building relationships with existing clients and penetrating new accounts. You are an influencer with the ability to act as a trusted advisor, delivering business value to both end users and key stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent, coupled with 8+ years of technology sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in direct selling to target accounts within the assigned territory and consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Relevant background in data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user is required.
  • Strong network and relationships within the territory.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport at all organizational levels.
  • Prior sales experience and technical knowledge in areas such as Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure, or Cloud computing.
