Position Overview:

The role of the Account Executive entails managing a diverse portfolio of global Panasonic Process Automation Software (MES) clients. The successful candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in PanaCIM and other Panasonic MES software, effectively liaising with customers, partners, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities:

As part of your role, you will:

  • Drive the sales strategy to enhance and expand the market presence of Panasonic's PanaCIM and other Process Automation Software offerings within your designated territory, collaborating closely with Panasonic software sales partners, Regional Sales Managers, customers, and prospects.
  • Facilitate solution sales by partnering with various Panasonic teams, including Pre-Sales, Machine Sales, Digital Solution Centers, Partnerships, and Post-Sales, to strengthen deal outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposal presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze customer business needs and challenges to effectively position the relevant software capabilities, ultimately aiding in closing sales.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key customer contacts to generate demand by aligning with their critical business objectives, leading to upsell opportunities.
  • Formulate sales strategies that align with division goals for revenue, market share, and competitive account engagement.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline while providing accurate forecasts that contribute to revenue closure and quota achievement.
  • Oversee the software sales process and assist Panasonic colleagues in delivering solutions until project completion.
  • Engage in industry trade shows and professional associations.
  • Commit to ongoing personal development, particularly in interpersonal communication, negotiation, account management, cross-selling, SMT concepts, and solutions selling.

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory experience in selling or supporting PanaCIM MES software.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in SMT and/or manufacturing software or consultative selling.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce is essential.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required; postgraduate education is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with programming languages or tools such as Java, HTML, XSLT, databases, HTTP, and TCP/IP is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of SMT manufacturing processes, equipment, MES software, or similar software solutions is beneficial.
  • Experience in quality control, process management, continuous improvement, or project management is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to undertake extensive global travel (approximately 50%).
