RF Mechanical Engineer I

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ. As an RF Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing complex Radio Frequency (RF) systems, subsystems, and components, including antennas, RF circuit cards, and RF test-equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with a multi-discipline team to solve complex engineering problems
- Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF products designs
- Develop prototype hardware designs and coordinate fabrication
- Perform hands-on integration and test support for prototype hardware
- Hold design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM major
- Coursework, project, internship, or professional experience in manufacturing and design, thermodynamics and heat transfer, vibrations, materials, mechatronics, and/or statics
- 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- ABET accreditation standard
- 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
- Experience with 3D CAD design (preferably Creo Parametric)
- Experience in antenna and/or electronics packaging
- Experience with harness and interconnect design
- Experience creating engineering drawings
- Experience fabricating prototype designs
- Familiarity with the application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience working collaboratively in a multi-discipline team
- Experience performing tolerance analysis
