Job Title: Residential Support Worker

About the Role:

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care and support to residents in a community residence. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality resident care, including assistance with daily living activities, socialization, and skill development.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy living environment, adhering to relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Develop personalized care plans for each resident, taking into account their unique needs and objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure effective care coordination.
  • Manage accurate and detailed electronic health records, tracking resident progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through training and meetings to stay current on best practices and policies.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; medication certification and basic computer skills preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for auto insurance.
  • Capacity to lift, transfer, and assist participants as needed, working in a physically demanding environment.

Work Hours:

Saturday: 2pm - 10pm, Sunday: 2pm - 10pm
