The Blick Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our Adult Day Services Program. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in developing skills and increasing independence.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with therapists and team members to plan and implement daily group activities that promote personal preferences, abilities, and community inclusion.
- Provide crisis intervention and assist clients with personal care as needed.
- Drive morning or afternoon routes to pick up or take home clients.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Two years of experience preferred, but not required.
- Valid driver's license with less than 6 points.
- Able to be physically active and lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs.
- Paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance, dental and vision insurance, and life insurance.
- 401k plan with 100% match on the first 6% of earnings.
