Job Summary

The Commercial Solutions Engineer will play a key role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction at SHI International. This individual will work closely with customers to understand their technology needs and develop solutions that meet their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their technology needs and develop solutions that meet their business objectives
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, and educate customers on the benefits and applications of these technologies
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including CIOs, IT directors, and other key stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability solutions
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies, hypervisors, server and desktop virtualization
  • Expertise in mainstream technologies, including Dell/EMC, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Palo Alto, Pure Storage, Azure, and AWS
  • Experience with public and private cloud solutions
  • Ability to train and disseminate information within an area or operation
  • Consultative approach to cloud, virtualization, storage, networking, and servers technology
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
