Job Summary

Patient Services Coordinators play a vital role in supporting our Oncology Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, scheduling appointments, and ensuring seamless communication between departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and adjust patient appointments, coordinating with multiple departments.
  • Register and consent patients, ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Retrieve, scan, and manage patient records, ensuring timely updates in the system.
  • Triage phone calls, address patient inquiries, and advocate for patient needs.
  • Verify insurance coverage, obtain referrals/authorizations, and assist with billing issue resolution.
  • Support the Oncology/Radiation team by assisting with patient admissions, follow-ups, and addressing patient flow concerns.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Intake Coordinator.
  • Experience in Oncology and proficiency with Epic required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on compassionate patient care.

Work Environment:

  • Location: Seattle, WA (100% onsite)
  • 6-Month Assignment
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Compliance: You must be able to pass a criminal background check and 10-panel drug screen.
  • Current vaccinations required, including COVID booster, flu, MMR, Varicella, Hep B (declination accepted), TB, and Tdap.
  • Hourly pay rate: $22-$24 per hour depending on experience.
