Job Summary

The Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in driving the sales process, encompassing opportunity identification, closing deals, and targeting small to mid-sized businesses within a specialized market. This position demands tailored sales strategies, presenting value-driven solutions, conducting ROI analyses, and fostering strong client relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • IDentify and pursue opportunities to sell products and services to clients.
  • Present and explain solutions effectively to prospects and customers.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand customer needs and communicate tailored value propositions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the technical features and specifications of the offerings.
  • Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
  • Retain existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
  • Oversee project scope, manage expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients to provide support and ensure successful implementation.
  • Track and address project-related issues or risks during post-implementation phases.
  • Draft contracts and pricing proposals using standardized templates and guidelines.
  • Provide or coordinate customer training sessions when needed.
  • Process orders efficiently and assist with invoicing efforts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct research to identify prospective clients, create targeted sales plans, and execute follow-ups.
  • Perform cold outreach and marketing activities to build a strong pipeline.
  • Utilize CRM tools to organize and document sales activities.
  • Participate in events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company.
  • Travel frequently (50%-70%) to meet with customers and prospects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Willingness to dedicate extra time and effort to achieve goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like NetSuite or equivalent systems.
