About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our retail dispensary in East Peoria, IL. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations at the dispensary, including staff management, inventory control, customer relationship management, and financial performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of dispensary operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer relationship management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage dispensary finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including cannabis industry regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, such as operations, hospitality, management, or project management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a specialized retail environment, with experience overseeing one or multiple locations.
  • Strong knowledge of the cannabis industry, including cash handling procedures, product knowledge, inventory management, compliance regulations, and audit processes.
  • Technical proficiency in using Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and industry-specific software such as LeafLogix and METRC.
  • Ability to successfully pass all background checks required under Illinois cannabis laws.
