Position Overview:

The Senior Software Engineer plays a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of software applications. This position requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement enterprise-level applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot, with a primary emphasis on the Drools Engine.
  • Leverage Java versions 11 and 17 to develop scalable and efficient software solutions.
  • Gain practical experience with the Drools Engine, including workbench, KIE execution server, and various configurations.
  • Design and execute Decision Model and Notation (DMN) models at Conformance level 3.
  • Create complex event processing capabilities using Drools Fusion.
  • Utilize Docker for containerizing Drools applications to enhance deployment efficiency and scalability.
  • Exhibit proficiency in configuring and optimizing application servers such as Wildfly (JBOSS AS) and Tomcat 8+.
  • Manage applications with MongoDB, utilizing the Spring Data MongoDB library for effective data handling.
  • Implement and maintain a microservices architecture, ensuring seamless integration with BPM engines.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with jBPM.
  • Function as a full-stack engineer within an AWS cloud environment, ensuring effective deployment and management of applications.
  • Optimize business rules to achieve maximum performance.
  • Conduct automated testing of rule executions using tools like jMeter to guarantee software quality and reliability.
  • Manage security protocols and processes within AWS and Azure environments.
  • Automate security measures, data protection, and compliance validation.
  • Develop and maintain secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, as well as Azure services like VMs and Blob Storage.
  • Design and oversee container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker, including ECS clusters.
  • Implement load balancing and auto-scaling strategies for optimal resource management.
  • Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Conduct Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor cloud environments using tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and other third-party solutions.
  • Implement governance and compliance tools to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
  • Respond to security incidents and perform vulnerability and penetration testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate secure software development lifecycle practices.
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Two to four years of experience in Java and Spring Boot, particularly in developing enterprise applications.
  • Proficient in Java versions 11 and 17.
  • Expertise in the Drools Engine and associated technologies.
  • Experience with DMN models at Conformance level 3.
  • Knowledge of application containerization using Docker.
  • Strong background in server management and optimization, especially with Wildfly and Tomcat.
  • Experience with MongoDB and the Spring Data MongoDB library.
  • Proven experience in implementing microservices architecture and BPM integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of jBPM is essential.
  • Experience as a full-stack engineer in AWS cloud environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to deploy and manage applications on AWS.
  • Experience in optimizing business rules and conducting automated testing.
