Your Role:

As a Beverage Operations Supervisor, you will:

  • Ensure a welcoming atmosphere in the venue, focusing on lighting, temperature, music volume, and cleanliness.
  • Uphold standards related to staff attire, service quality, food presentation, and guest interactions.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings in an engaging and motivational style.
  • Communicate effectively and clearly with team members.
  • Guarantee that service meets established standards.
  • Assist the Manager on Duty with programming specials into the point-of-sale system.
  • Identify and address potential issues proactively.
  • Support in staff scheduling, managing voids/closing comps, liquor inventory, and staffing adjustments.
  • Greet all guests promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures and maintain adherence to company policies.
  • Assist bartenders and servers with change requests.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments as necessary.
  • Document nightly sales and operational challenges in the Manager Log Book.
  • Monitor labor costs during shifts, with a focus on overtime management.
  • Verify the accuracy of labor systems at shift's end.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Availability to work late hours.
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant or entertainment venue.
  • Comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations.
  • Basic knowledge of state, federal, and local liquor regulations, retail operations, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong leadership, guest relations, decision-making, and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to foster positive interactions with staff and guests, prioritize tasks, motivate team members, solve problems, delegate responsibilities, and communicate effectively.
  • High School diploma.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, preferably MICROS.
  • Some college education or a degree.
