Position Summary:
The selected candidate will possess a wealth of experience with the BigCommerce platform, adeptness in crafting ERP queries, and a solid understanding of Product Information Management (PIM) systems. This role is crucial for enhancing our B2B e-commerce approach, fostering customer engagement, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute a detailed marketing strategy for our B2B e-commerce platform, concentrating on maximizing return on investment and customer acquisition.
- Oversee all marketing operations on the BigCommerce platform, ensuring effective integration with our PIM system for streamlined product information management.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver timely and relevant site content and product recommendations.
- Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns, utilizing ERP data queries to effectively segment and reach the intended audience.
- Leverage Tableau to assess marketing campaign performance, website traffic, and sales metrics to identify trends and optimize marketing initiatives.
- Work alongside product teams and sales to synchronize marketing strategies with product launches and promotional activities.
- Manage the creation of marketing content and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with brand standards and e-commerce goals.
- Monitor and refine SEO and PPC strategies to enhance search visibility and drive traffic to the B2B platform.
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, establishing clear objectives and providing training and development opportunities.
- Administer the marketing budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices to continually enhance our marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to understanding and fulfilling the needs of B2B clients.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactical plans effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce marketing within a B2B context.
- Demonstrated experience managing e-commerce platforms, particularly BigCommerce.
- Robust analytical skills with experience in ERP data query writing and proficiency in Tableau for business intelligence.
- Comprehensive knowledge of PIM systems and their integration into e-commerce platforms.
- Ability to analyze site behavior using analytics tools.
- Experience in creating email and SMS campaigns and workflow automation.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
- Creative and strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing, demand generation, and social media best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with BigCommerce, NetSuite, Klaviyo, and Tableau.
- Familiarity with digital marketing automation tools.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
Work Environment:
This position primarily involves sedentary work, which may require occasional movement of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. The role is predominantly office-based, with the possibility of brief periods of standing or walking.
