Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Patients for Office Visits
    • Escort patients to treatment rooms
    • Obtain pertinent patient information for medical records
    • Document information in patients' charts
  • Process Patient Communications
    • Answer patient telephone calls
    • Respond to patient correspondence
  • Coordinate Patient Flow
    • Collaborate with receptionists to ensure timely patient appointments
    • Assist front office personnel with scheduling and other tasks
  • Support Clinical Operations
    • Process and file lab/diagnostic test results
    • Document patient vital signs and medical history
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience
    • Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience required
  • Certifications
    • National Certification as a Medical Assistant a plus
