The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is the U.S. Government agency responsible for the design, construction, launch, and maintenance of America's intelligence satellites.

Role Overview: Apogee's ideal SharePoint Developer will collaborate with program and content stakeholders to create, develop, and troubleshoot solutions. The candidate will identify, customize, and implement web and content management systems functionalities to address specific mission requirements, timelines, and outcomes. If you excel in SharePoint and are passionate about supporting government initiatives, this position at Apogee is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance site functionalities utilizing new web technologies and programming languages.
  • Design and maintain web interfaces that offer improved functionality for various processes.
  • Provide responsive support to integrate, present, and manage office inputs across multiple networks, including the development, maintenance, and administration of program pages.
  • Review, proofread, and format materials to ensure consistency and effective messaging across office products and mediums.
  • Deliver hands-on training for content management systems tailored to the specific needs of content owners.
  • Collaborate with NRO to ensure compliance with corporate standards, policies, procedures, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a front-end developer to create out-of-the-box (OOTB) SharePoint web tools with a user-centric design, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Expertise in developing web pages using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and SharePoint Designer to deliver customized solutions.
  • Experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining custom SharePoint data collection applications.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and complex workflow creation.
  • Ability to track, communicate, and manage project requirements, utilizing an organized methodology to extract information for leadership and clients.
  • Capacity to learn new tools and technologies, manage multiple concurrent tasks, and prioritize time effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage a team, providing mentorship and expertise.
  • 8+ years of experience in developing and managing projects in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and recommend solutions for various challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NRO or Intelligence Community (IC) operations.
