Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, and stocking.
  • Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to both internal customers (service and sales departments) and external customers.
  • Sales Performance: Meet and exceed sales goals by promoting and selling parts to both wholesale and retail customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Keep up to date with product launches, recalls, and updates to ensure accurate inventory and knowledge of parts.
  • Team Development: Train and develop team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
  • Record Keeping: Manage and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other relevant information.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a parts or customer service role in the automotive industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of automotive parts and products, excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational and time management skills, proficient in computer skills, including the use of inventory and sales software.
  • Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
